Timothy Reitz

Attorney Timothy A. B. Reitz is a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, where he attended Montgomery Area High School.

Following graduation from high school, Attorney Reitz enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served in First Division as a leading seaman on the USS Elliot out of San Diego, California.

Upon returning home, Attorney Reitz attended Pennsylvania College of Technology in the Legal Assitant and Legal Studies programs. He later attended Roger Williams School of Law, where he obtained his juris doctorate and University of Rhode Island for a Master's Degree. While at the University of Rhode Island, Attorney Reitz served as a research assistant to Thomas Grigalunas, Ph.D. as part of the Korea-America Joint Marine Policy Research Center. Attorney Reitz also served as a law clerk at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg, Germany.

From there, Attorney Reitz returned to Pennsylvania, where he has pursued cases in court from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. His notable decisions include Reed v. Dupois and Commonweath v. Shrawder.

When asked why he has chosen to devote his life to the law, he responds, “I truly enjoy this work. It's about fighting for someone when they can’t fight for themselves.”

During his Personal time, he enjoys Judo and regularly competes in state and regional competitions.

Timothy A. B. Reitz is a member of the Lycoming County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania State Courts as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of the Federal Courts.
